We process your personal information on our career portal exclusively in agreement with the following fundamentals and in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. This Notice describes how the PALFINGER group, including PALFINGER US Holdings, Inc., PALFINGER, Inc., Palfinger Marine Canada Inc. and its affiliated entities (collectively referred to as, “PALFINGER”) handles and protects data provided by employment candidates in connection with the recruiting process.

Definitions
Candidate Data in the recruiting process means all information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you, your household, or device. This includes information such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number, home-address, data of your CV and other documents you provide for the recruiting process.
Processing refers to any action performed on Candidate Data, such as collecting, recording, organizing, storing, transferring, modifying, using, disclosing, or deleting.
Data Collection
You agree that, in addition to collecting Candidate Data directly from you, PALFINGER may collect Candidate Data from third parties, for example, from external recruiters (i.e., external head hunters), former employers, third parties facilitating background checks, etc. in connection with a background or employment check or an employment reference (subject to your consent where required by law) or, to the extent permitted by law, from a recruiting or other website where you may have provided information about your work experience or interests.
In order to apply for a job at PALFINGER or to use other services on our career portal it is necessary to create an application profile. The profile includes your name, your e-mail address and your country of residence, as well as any other information that is voluntarily provided.
Who is responsible for your Candidate Data?
Each PALFINGER entity has designated the individual named above as Data Protection Officer as the individual who is accountable for that PALFINGER entity’s compliance with applicable privacy law. You are able to centrally exercise all your rights through that Data Protection Officer
