The Associate Internal Corporate Communications supports the execution and continuous improvement of PALFINGER’s global internal communication with a strong operational focus on the new global intranet, launched in June. Working under the leadership of the Team Lead Internal Corporate Communications, this role contributes to a consistent, engaging, and user-centric employee communication experience by maintaining intranet content, supporting governance implementation, and enabling collaboration across regions and functions. The role plays a key part in ensuring the intranet becomes the central hub for global, regional , and local employee communication, aligned with the Internal Communication Strategy, while supporting adoption, relevance, and day-to-day excellence.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain the global intranet as the central internal communication platform, including creating, editing, publishing, and updating content in line with governance, templates, and editorial standards
- Coordinate global intranet content contributions by supporting regional and functional content owners, ensuring clarity, quality, relevance, and consistency across intranet pages
- Support internal communication initiatives and campaigns by preparing and adapting content (articles, updates, visuals) and contributing to editorial planning, publishing schedules, and approval processes
- Ensure governance and standards are applied by following internal communication guidelines, supporting consistent channel usage, and acting as a first point of contact for intranet-related questions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to improvements by working closely with the Internal Communications team, HR, and regional contacts, while supporting basic analytics and suggesting improvements for content and user experience
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Communication, Media, Marketing, or a related field, or comparable education
- First experience in internal communication, corporate communication, digital content, or intranet management, gained through a role, internship, or traineeship
- Very good written communication skills in English with the ability to create clear, employee‑focused content; German is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a structured and reliable way of working
- Team‑oriented mindset with digital affinity, curiosity for communication tools and formats, and willingness to learn in a global environment

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conforming overpayment.
