The Global Network Development & Training organization plays a key role in enabling PALFINGER’s global partner network. Within this organization, the Global Training Center Operations function is reporting to the VP Global Network Development & Training and is the operational counterpart to Global Training Strategy & Digital Enablement and ensures best-in-class onsite training delivery through scalable execution, strong operational performance management, and consistent quality across training centers. _____YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of the operational performance and scalability of PALFINGER’s global network of onsite training centers, ensuring excellence in execution, quality, and efficiency with tangible business impact
- Act as the operational counterpart to the Global Training Strategy & Digital Enablement function, ensuring disciplined execution of the global training strategy across training centers and regions within the globally defined standards and governance
- Inspire, lead and develop the EMEA training organization across Sales/Service/Technical and Installation Training — building a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous growth
- Provide functional leadership to training centers in APCA, LATAM, NAM and MARINE in strong cooperation with Global Training Strategy & Digital Enablement driving consistent execution, performance management and best-practice transfer at scale
- Shape the future of PALFINGER’s training network by driving business cases, capacity growth, and operational excellence initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement, safety, and quality through standardized processes, facilities, and equipment management across all global centers
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed education (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Operations/Industrial Management, Engineering or a comparable field and over 10 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams through effective coaching, people development, and empowerment
- Strong business acumen and financial/analytical skills — confident in managing KPIs, performance management systems, capacity planning, and in developing business cases and investment proposals grounded in clear cost–benefit logic and measurable value creation
- Extensive experience in Sales, After-Sales, Service, or Training environments, combining strong technical understanding with the ability to translate business needs into operational excellence in onsite training delivery
- Proven track record of success in global and matrix organizations, with international experience, cross regional stakeholder management, and the ability to drive alignment and execution in complex, fast paced environments
- Fluency in German and English, other languages are an advantage; willingness to travel gobally (25%)

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 66.740,94 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
