To strengthen our Governance & Compliance team in Bergheim (Salzburg), we are looking for an Internal Control System Expert who will play a key role in further developing and strengthening our group‑wide Internal Control System (ICS).

Your responsibilities

  • Design, govern and continuously enhance the Group’s ICS 
  • Oversee, steer and review the monitoring of ICS standards 
  • Advise and support management an control owners implementing ICS requirements 
  • Act as gatekeeper and escalation point for SoD conflics 
  • Lead internal ICS community, foster knowledge exchange, conduct trainings

Your qualifications

  • Completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CIA, CBPP) is an advantage
  • Several years of relevant experience in Internal Controls, Risk Assurance, Internal or External Audit, preferably in an international environment and ideally in group-wide governance or standardization roles
  • Proven knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), SoD principles, and authorization concepts (e.g., DoA), including experience with control testing, monitoring tools, and process documentation systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and assess control structures, identify systemic control weaknesses, and translate governance requirements into practical solutions
  • Fluent in German and English; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to train, consulting, and influencing non-experts on control topics

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
