As Product Application Expert, you understand the specific market requirements and applications for Palfinger Product Attachments (winches, hooks, grabs lifters etc.) and truck bodybuilding accessories and translate them into market-driven turnkey solutions. In this expert role, you evaluate and prioritize product and application needs, drive business cases for new solutions and enhancements, and act as a key interface between market, product management and sales across the EMEA region.
_____YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive portfolio development by initiating product development projects and business cases for different industry applications.
- Gather, evaluate and prioritize product requirements and unique selling propositions (USPs) from EMEA markets.
- Conduct structured competitive and market analyses to identify trends, opportunities and gaps in our product offering.
- Collaborate closely with Product Line Management, Product Application Management, Sales Training and Product Marketing on product launches and discontinuations.
- Support the EMEA sales teams with application and market know-how to win new business and further develop existing customers.
- Build up new and strengthen existing business relations to lead customers and installation partners.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed technical education and at least 5 years of experience with requirements and application of machinery preferably.
- High level of independence, personal responsibility and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation capabilities and a creative, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong team player with well-developed intercultural competence and strong language skills (written and spoken); very good English skills, additional languages are an advantage.
- Confident use of MS Office and basic project management skills.

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement for employment group F is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a significant overpayment.
