The Project Management Office (PMO) in the PALFINGER Sales organization is the central focal point for the global project organization. One of the key overall goals of the PMO is to implement strategies, guidelines and global governance models to manage and execute Projects within the Sales organization.

As part of the PMO Sales you will not only contribute to defining the roadmap and the strategy for coming new project management trends, standards, methods and best practices but also support, guide and train project teams to bring the project management knowledge to the next level.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and implement project management standards, tools, and governance models at PALFINGER Sales & Service
  • Develop and continuously improve project management frameworks, processes, templates, and guidelines
  • Act as PMO expert, providing guidance, coaching, and operational support to Project Managers and teams
  • Design and deliver internal PM training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Drive PMO governance, performance tracking, and continuous improvement across projects and practices

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed technical or commercial education (HTL, FH, TU or equivalent) with 3+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Solid knowledge of project management principles (PMI preferred); certification (PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA, SaFe) is an advantage
  • Experienced in international, cross-functional, and virtual team environments
  • Strong organizational, implementation, and communication skills; adaptable and effective in multicultural settings
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conforming overpayment.
