Join PALFINGER, a global leader in innovative lifting solutions, as an Install & Service Technician at our Cerritos, CA facility. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the precise installation of liftgates and related equipment onto truck and trailer chassis, delivering high-quality results that meet customer specifications and safety standards.

Your Tasks:

• Install liftgates onto truck and trailer chassis according to customer specifications and SOPs.
• Perform welding, electrical wiring, and hydraulic system installations on equipment.
• Install and wire lighting, power take-offs, pumps, and accessories as required.
• Conduct functional and quality control testing of completed installations.
• Interpret and follow installation drawings and instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Your Qualifications: 

• 2–5 years of experience installing truck equipment and liftgates, including electrical wiring to specifications.
• Proficient in mechanical, welding, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.
• Skilled in GMAW welding (2G, 3G, 4G) and familiar with torch and plasma cutting methods.
• Physically capable of performing installation tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating a sit-down forklift.
