PALFINGER is searching for a dependable and safety focused CDL Driver to join our team at the Council Bluffs, IA location. In this role, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering trailers within the yard, delivering products to customer locations and operating a forklift to efficiently load and secure shipments. This position reports to the Logistics Coordinator/Loading Supervisor.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform trailer movements, including safely backing into docks and positioning trailers within the yard.
• Operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries, ensuring timely and professional service to customer sites.
• Safely operate forklifts to load materials and equipment into trailers.
• Accurately move and place materials in tight spaces, including stacking and securing pallets and bundled goods.
• Support daily shipping and receiving operations while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
• Assist with additional warehouse and operational tasks as needed to keep workflows running efficiently.

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. 
• Valid Class A CDL required. 
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Ability to climb onto trailers for loading and inspection, and regularly lift up to 100 lbs.

• Strong spatial awareness with solid mechanical aptitude.

• Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
