Join PALFINGER as you lead high‑level service support for Work Truck Bodies and Lifting Systems across the North American market. In this role, you’ll serve as the regional technical expert, supporting dealers, service partners, and end users with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting. You’ll drive stronger market feedback loops, partner closely with cross‑functional teams in the U.S. and Europe, and ensure consistent, high‑quality after‑sales service. This position also strengthens PALFINGER’s service network through training, relationship‑building, and hands‑on support across the region.
_____Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional service expert for Work Truck Bodies and Lifting Systems, supporting dealers, service partners, and end users.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems via phone, email, and on‑site visits as needed.
- Conduct regular on‑site service visits, provide training, and build strong, sustainable partner relationships.
- Interface with operations, engineering, quality, sales, spare parts, and other teams to communicate market issues and resolve technical challenges.
- Support documentation updates, service bulletins, and training feedback; travel 30–70% for partner support, troubleshooting, and service visits.
Your Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; technical or business degree preferred, with 10+ years’ experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience working within high‑performing teams.
- Technical proficiency in reading specifications, diagrams, and installation manuals; familiarity with PALFINGER products preferred.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service across phone, email, and in‑person channels; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America and to PALFINGER’s European headquarters; second‑language skills (German, Spanish, or French) beneficial.
