OUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare jobs by ensuring all required parts, tools, and documentation are available prior to mobilization.
  • Assess technical conditions on site and perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic/electrical cranes, including knuckle boom and offshore cranes.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues related to:
                 Hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, accumulators)
                 Hydraulic power packs and piping systems
                 Load holding, slewing, luffing, and hoisting functions
                 Electrical controls/ PLCs/VFDs
  • Carry out work onboard vessels, offshore oil & gas installations, and offshore wind installations in compliance with Company standards, OEM guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Perform function testing, commissioning, and fault-finding after repairs or modifications.
  • Prepare clear service reports and communicate job progress and completion to the Service Coordinator and Client.
  • Be available for travel at short notice, including offshore and international assignments.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Marine Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Strong hands-on experience with hydraulic/Electrical crane systems.
  • Good knowledge of:
             Hydraulic schematics and fault diagnosis
             Proportional and directional control valves
             Hydraulic motors, pumps, and cylinders
             Load control and safety valves
             Electrical controls/ PLCs/ VFDs
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in cranes or heavy lifting equipment.
  • Experience in the marine and offshore industry is a strong advantage.
  • Basic electrical and control knowledge (limit switches, sensors, solenoids) is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently in challenging environments.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Physically fit for manual work and working at height.
