At PALFINGER MARINE Dubai, United Arab Emirates, we are currently looking for a TALENTED, AMBITIOUS AND READY FOR A NEW CHALLENGE Service Engineers. This position will be reporting to the Regional Service Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Job preparation: Verify that all required parts, tools, and resources are available, and ensure all pre-job requirements are met before commencing work.
  • Assess the technical condition of equipment on-site to identify maintenance and repair needs.
    Perform service, maintenance, and repairs of lifeboats, davits, and cranes onboard vessels, offshore oil & gas platforms, and offshore wind installations.
    Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, safety procedures, and applicable industry regulations.
  • You will report to the Service Coordinator and the client on all activities performed, ensuring accurate documentation and timely administrative completion of service reports and related paperwork.
  • Travel at short notice, occasionally for longer periods.

Your Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical or Marine engineering or equivalent.
  • Possess a strong technical background in Lifesaving Appliances (LSA), with specific hands-on experience in mechanical winches, lifeboats, davits, and cranes.
  • Minimum of 3 years and up to 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the maritime/offshore industry is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in English language, both verbal and written.
  • Computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability and willingness to engage in moderate to heavy physical work and working at height
