PALFINGER is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the Palfinger Finance team in our Oklahoma City manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of customer invoices, performing collections, maintaining credit limits, as well as exemplifying great customer service to our internal and external customers. _____Your Responsibilities
- Processing invoices daily - ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
- Posting cash receipts and credit card payments daily.
- Researching and investigating payment discrepancies.
- Maintaining sales tax exemption certificates.
- Processing credit applications and all related reporting/compliance.
- Setting up new customers, credit limits according to set polices and maintain customer database.
- Issuing credit memos and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Preparing weekly/monthly reports and performing month-end close responsibilities.
- Collecting payments on past due accounts.
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in collections and accounts receivable is required.
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) with application in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel)
- Prior experience with SAP preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
