Reach Beyond at PALFINGER as an Assembler, based in Oklahoma City, OK, where you will construct and assemble aerial lift equipment, including hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, to support industry-leading products. In this hands-on role, you will perform assembly, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting activities while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. You will work from blueprints, bills of materials, and production documentation to complete complex assemblies with accuracy and efficiency. This position also provides opportunities to share your expertise by supporting continuous improvement efforts and mentoring new team members.
_____Your Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble aerial lift equipment, sub-assemblies, wiring, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components with minimal supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and production documentation to ensure accurate assembly and completion of work orders.
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections, verify completed operations, and conduct functional testing of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize SAP and Forcam to verify production activities, confirm operations, review material availability, and document manufacturing data.
- Troubleshoot assembly and quality issues, support corrective actions, and mentor new team members on assembly processes and production systems.
Your Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with hydraulics, wiring, mechanical systems, quality inspections, and functional testing in a production environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, adapt to changing priorities, and safely perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
