The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activities and achieving business growth within the EUROPE region for all PALFINGER Marine Products. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of products and services. The Sales Manager works closely with the Sales Director to align regional efforts with global strategies, fostering a high-performing sales team and ensuring client satisfaction across the region.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Europe, ensuring alignment with global objectives, regional market demands, and business priorities
  • Manage day-to-day sales operations, including pipeline management, customer interactions, sales forecasting, and performance reporting to the Sales Director
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, ensuring high satisfaction, customer retention, and long-term business success
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the client base and strengthening the company’s market position across the region
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Channel Development and Application Engineering, to deliver Standard, Configured, and Customized Solutions while monitoring market needs, industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, particularly in the maritime or related industries
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and cultures
  • Business fluent in English with strong negotiation skills in an international business environment
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant industry and internal and competitive product ranges

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53 241.02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
