The intern will support the Strategic Global Procurement team within Procurement Marine with a focus on harmonizing data and increasing transparency across our diverse business segments.
_____YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the harmonization of procurement- and material-related data across different ERP systems (SAP, Infor LN, Microsoft Axapta)
- Assist in identifying consolidation and volume-bundling opportunities across Marine & Wind Cranes, Marine Handling Solutions, and Boats & Davits
- Prepare and analyze spending patterns to enable material and supply chain optimization
- Support cost‑saving and design‑to‑cost projects by analyzing BOM (Bill of Materials) and preparing cost overviews. You will closely collaborate with the lead buyers and other project team members
- Support in creating project documentation such as presentations, templates, dashboards, and reporting materials
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Ongoing or completed studies in business, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a technical field
- Strong analytical skills and interest in procurement, data structures, and process harmonization
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and procurement workflows is an advantage
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) is beneficial
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent English skills required; German language skills are an advantage

Duration: Ideally a minimum of five months; the internship topic may also be evaluated as part of a Master’s thesis.
Compensation: The position pays a gross monthly salary of EUR 1,911.00 on a full‑time basis, according to the collective agreement for the metal industry.
