We are looking for Spare Parts Engineer (m/f/d) Marine to ensure the long-term availability, reliability and serviceability of PALFINGER Marine products by defining and maintaining spare parts and related product information. The role develops systematic spare-part and replacement recommendations throughout the product lifecycle, provides technical support to internal stakeholders and customers, and contributes to high equipment uptime and service levels.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain spare-part master data information available in SAP the electronic parts catalogue (ETC), including back up support for spare-parts administration 
  • Develop systematic spare-part and replacement recommendations throughout the complete product lifecycle
  • Provide technical advice on spare parts, legacy equipment and suitable alternative or replacement solutions 
  • Support the team in the use of SAP and Paldiag, and prepare warranty analyses and reports as required
  • Review and process documentation. change workflows, coordinate technical changes in product after sales, and provide administrative support to the Customer Service management team

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed technical education, preferably at higher technical college level (HTL) or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong technical and product knowledge, ideally gained in a service, after-sales or marine-related environment
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office and experience with ERP and service systems, particularly SAP, Infor
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify technically sound alternative and replacement solutions
  • Good written and spoken English skills; a structured, reliable and service-oriented way of working

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
