The Service Manager will be responsible for the planning, management and organization of the Service area in Portugal. Reporting to the Network Development Manager, he/she will be responsible for achieving the objective of making the Service area in Portugal a reference in the sector, providing the best customer and employee experience.
_____Your responsibilities
- Oversee repair planning by allocating materials and personnel efficiently, ensuring close collaboration with technical and administrative teams
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, and ensure maximum return on investments
- Develop and implement technical and commercial strategies, lead customer acquisition and retention initiatives, and ensure high service quality and business growth
- Supervise technicians, monitor performance, organize training programs, and implement continuous improvements based on KPIs and workshop efficiency
- Manage service contracts and material procurement, maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and report on service activities to support informed decision-making
Your qualifications
- 5+ years in machinery/service sectors (e.g., automotive, truck, industrial); rental company workshop experience is a plus
- Proven experience working directly with end customers in service-related roles
- Skilled in coordinating workshop/service teams with a hands-on management approach
- Industrial engineering education or similar technical training
- Fluent in Portuguese, good English, strong leadership, communication, analytical and teamwork skills
