Join PALFINGER as our Team Lead Parts Purchasing who will be a critical role in ensuring spare parts availability across the PALFINGER North America region while leading and supporting a high-performing purchasing team. This position owns the end-to-end procurement process, balancing inventory optimization, supplier collaboration, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with global and regional partners to keep products flowing, customers supported, and operations running smoothly.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure availability of spare parts for the North American market by overseeing procurement and stocking activities across product lines.
  • Lead and support a small purchasing team to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer and operational demands.
  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end procurement process to drive efficiency, accuracy, and product availability.
  • Coordinate and actively negotiate with suppliers, collaborating as needed with PALFINGER’s Global Strategic Purchasing team.
  • Analyze stock requirements, material lead times, and sales orders while adjusting inbound freight methods to better meet customer needs.

Your Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in business or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain planning.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a small team of procurement professionals.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to deliver timely, effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); SAP experience preferred.
