Reach Beyond at PALFINGER as a Spare Parts Assembler & Kitter supporting our North America team in our Huntley, IL distribution center. In this hands-on role, you will ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer spare parts orders, kit assembly, and inventory-related activities that keep our operations running efficiently. Working within a collaborative warehouse environment, you will play an important role in maintaining quality standards and supporting customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy fast-paced distribution operations and take pride in delivering accurate results.
_____Your Responsibilities
- Complete kit assembly by gathering individual components using production orders and Bills of Materials.
- Perform light assembly work to create sub-assemblies for customer and operational needs.
- Pick, package, and prepare customer spare part orders for shipment using boxes, pallets, or crates.
- Support inventory management and assist with quality inspections of received parts.
- Follow company policies, operational procedures, and safety requirements while supporting additional warehouse activities as needed.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, shipping, or related environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of parcel, LTL, TL, and container logistics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, preferred.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting materials, climbing ladders, and working in varying temperatures.
