Cyber Security Engineer - SAP Authorization Specialist (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and develop SAP Roles & Authorizations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP BTP, including front-end and back-end environments
• Design, enhance and maintain authorization concepts and roles, including SAP Fiori Roles, Spaces & Pages, ensuring alignment with business processes, segregation of duties and security requirements
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support by analyzing and resolving complex authorization issues, including SAP GUI and Fiori-related access problems
• Drive authorization-related projects and initiatives, coordinating requirements and implementation with Process & Data Managers, SAP Basis, Identity Management, Development and external partners
• Continuously improve the SAP authorization landscape, identifying weaknesses, researching solutions and implementing new requirements, including roles for new companies, plants, processes and Fiori applications

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid experience in SAP Roles & Authorizations, ideally across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC and SAP BTP, with a good understanding of SAP security concepts and authorization design
• Practical knowledge of SAP Fiori security and authorization concepts, including Fiori Roles, Spaces & Pages, catalogs, business catalogs and launchpad access
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex authorization issues across SAP GUI, Fiori and cloud environments and develop sustainable solutions
• Experience with authorization governance and GRC, including segregation of duties, role design and risk analysis; experience with Pathlock SAST Suite is an advantage
• Project experience and strong collaboration skills, combined with relevant IT education or equivalent professional experience, a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and continuously develop SAP security expertise
